Creative Media Concept operates an unpaid intern policy as the internship experience is for the benefit of the intern. Even though the internship includes actual assignment to organisation duties, it is considered similar to training that would be given in a vocational facility. The internship programmes run for three months.
- The intern does not displace regular staff, but works under the close observation of a regular employee
- CMC provides the training and derives no immediate advantage from the activities of the intern
- CMC and the intern understand that the intern is not entitled to wages for the time in the internship
